Bengals Monday Practice Recap

The Bengals had another practice on Monday with mixed results.

David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

The Bengals had another practice on Monday continuing their surge through Training Camp. Aside from reports from the usual suspects, Joe Reedy of The Cincinnati Enquirer and Bengals.com editor Geoff Hobson and a multitude of others, we had our own man on the scene in Brennen Warner.

According to the reports, there were times that practice looked sloppy and others where the team seemed to have a certain chippy attitude towards each other. It would seem that the rigors of camp are starting to take their toll on some of the players, given their supposed attitude.

Some other big news is that cornerbacks Brandon Ghee and Dre Kirkpatrick were back at practice. Before the drills commenced, linebacker James Harrison provided some interesting statements for the media and other subjects.

Enjoy some of the updates from the reporters at camp.

The coaching staff was very hands-on during practice on Monday, be it Hue Jackson with the running backs, or Mark Carrier and Mike Zimmer with the defense.

Take a moment and enjoy the greatness that is Geno Atkins.

Meanwhile, the offense was busy installing screens on the day and Trevor Robinson was seen taking first-team snaps on Monday.

We also got a peek into how chippy Monday's practice got between a few players. Not surprisingly, linebacker Vontaze Burfict was right in the middle of it all.

Unfortunately, it sounded like a poor day from the quarterbacks. Andy Dalton missed a few throws, Josh Johnson threw back-to-back interceptions and John Skelton had some misses as well.

A big thanks to Warner for his work on Monday. He and Andrew Miller have been our eyes and ears out at Bengals practice for us at Cincy Jungle.
