The second episode of Hard Knocks is scheduled to premiere Tuesday night (10 p.m. ET) on HBO. NFL Films cameras travel with the Cincinnati Bengals to Atlanta, where the team participates in practices with the reigning NFC South champion Falcons. This week’s episode features full sound and film coverage of the Cincinnati-Atlanta preseason encounter Aug. 8 at the Georgia Dome.
Joe Reedy with the Cincinnati Enquirer tweets that other storylines for Tuesday's episode includes Margus Hunt, Jay and Jon Gruden, position battle between Orson Charles and John Conner and more on Mike Zimmer.
HBO will replay the episode on Aug. 14 (6:15 p.m., 11:00 p.m.), 15 (3:00 p.m., 1:00 a.m.), 16 (8:45 a.m., midnight), 17 (9:45 a.m., 12:30 a.m.), 18 (7:45 a.m.) and 19 (11:45 p.m., 5:10 a.m.). HBO2 playdates: Aug. 19 (4:30 p.m.) and 22 (12:30 a.m.)
A 30-person NFL Films crew is shooting up to 1,500 hours of video over the course of the series. Camera and sound crews are given unrestricted access to the players’ and coaches’ meeting rooms, training facilities, living quarters and practice fields.
