One of the more dramatic story lines in the first episode of this year's "Hard Knocks" was the injury to star wide receiver, A.J. Green. It caused a moment of panic amongst Bengals fans on that first day of Training Camp, but thankfully the knee injury that Green sustained wasn't a major one.
As Josh Kirkendall noted earlier on Wednesday, there was a possibility of Green returning to practice later in the day, and if he did there is a glimmer of hope that he could suit up for the team's second preseason game on Saturday. According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, that possibility of Green practicing is becoming a reality.
AJ Green back on the #Bengals practice field for first time since he bruised his knee two weeks ago. Primarily individual drills.

Joe Reedy of The Cincinnati Enquirer clarifies that Green will be only participating in individual drills on Wendesday, but regardless, it will be nice to see him back on the field practicing. The Bengals have exercised extreme caution with Green's injury and have wisely kept him out since that first day of camp.
There is no indication yet on whether or not Green will be good to go against the Tennessee Titans this weekend.
