After spending nearly three weeks on the sidelines with a hyper-extended knee, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green returned to practice on Wednesday in an extremely limited capacity. Most of the drills he performed during practice was limited to non-contact without any work during 11-on-11 sessions.

However, the team is taking a cautious approach with Green, who told reporters on Wednesday that he feels great.

"I am back to 100 percent," Green said via the Cincinnati Enquirer. "They just don’t want to throw me back just like this. As the days go on I am going to work my way back into them."

Green was one of nine players that stayed in Cincinnati when the team traveled to Atlanta last week for joint practices and the preseason opener on Thursday. After using team facilities to continue rehabilitation, Hard Knocks recorded Green watching the game from his home with teammate Andrew Hawkins, currently in a cast with an ankle injury.

"I have been away from the team for a long time so it's just good to be back out here with the team and the guys," Green said via Paul Dehner Jr.
