There's no doubt that the Cincinnati Bengals have been making a continued effort to bridge the gap with fans that was once fairly extensive. From reducing ticket prices, to pep rallys, the Bengals have to be given some credit for reaching across the aisle.
They're continuing that effort.
On Saturday, when the Bengals host the Titans during their home opener in the preseason, the Bengals will welcome fans with a special Fan Appreciation Program.
A total of 90 longtime season ticket holders will represent all Bengals fans and will receive a personalized Nike team jersey from players, coaches and team ownership. The presentation will take place on the field, and the 90 honorees will form a tunnel that Bengals players will run through during pregame introductions.
"We are happy to make this presentation as part of the NFL’s annual Back to Football program," said Katie Blackburn, Bengals executive vice-president. "We’re excited to be starting our 46th home season, and this program conveys our thanks to some of our best fans for their enthusiasm and loyalty."
