Bernard Scott, Chris Pressley, Zac Robinson will "probably" stay on PUP

Three players remain on the team's PUP list and according to the head coach, they will probably stay there when the season starts.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis spoke with reporters on Tuesday, updating the injury file on many players.

One of those is related to running back Bernard Scott, fullback Chris Pressley, and quarterback Zac Robinson, all of whom have been on the team's active/Physically Unable to Perform list since the start of camp.

According to Lewis, those players are expected to remain on the PUP at the beginning of the regular season. This means that they'll be ineligible to play for the first six weeks of the regular season. After that, the team will have three weeks to decide what to do with them. Those choices are Injured Reserve, releasing them outright, or activating them to the 53-man roster.

Scott and Pressley suffered season-ending knee injuries against the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles respectively last season.
