Make that two misses on our 53-man roster projection.
According to Geoff Hobson with Bengals.com, the Cincinnati Bengals are waiving rookie wide receiver Cobi Hamilton. The move suggests that the Bengals have found a home for wide receivers Dane Sanzenbacher and Ryan Whalen have made the 53-man roster.
Reports have #Bengals waiving Hamilton. So Sanzenbacher and Whalen must both make it

If true, that means the Bengals wide receiver roster will be A.J. Green, Mohamed Sanu, Marvin Jones, Andrew Hawkins, Brandon Tate, Dane Sazenbacher, and Ryan Whalen. This is of course assuming that the team keeps seven receivers with the intention of placing Hawkins on Injured Reserve with a designation to return. However, the team could still release either Sanzenbacher or Whalen by Saturday's 6 p.m. deadline.
If no one claims Hamilton on waivers, he'll most likely return to the team's practice squad.
Hamilton, drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft, posted seven receptions for 68 yards receiving and a touchdown during the preseason.
