NFL Odds: Bengals Open As Seven-point Favorites Against the Steelers

It's like the perfect mixture.

The Cincinnati Bengals will play their first home game of the regular season in front of a sold out crowd at Paul Brown Stadium. The opponent: The Pittsburgh Steelers. The game: Monday Night Football.

And odds makers view it as a Bengals win.

According to most of the opening lines, the Bengals are anywhere from a six to seven point favorite against the Steelers, who lost to the Tennessee Titans 16-9 during kickoff weekend last Sunday.

We're not short with storylines either. Pittsburgh looks to rebound from a bad regular season opener (like the Bengals, but from a different perspective), and you know that the Steelers are reflecting on their week 16 loss to the Bengals that eliminated them from the postseason. The Bengals, on the other hand, have an opportunity to claim more respect within the division by continuing to shed the "can't be the good teams" label.
