+ Willie Anderson was named as a first-year candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, becoming the first modern candidate with a legitimate chance since Boomer Esiason.

+ Pro Bowl left tackle Andrew Whitworth confirmed that he had a second procedure recently but not exactly for the same injury.

+ Vontaze Burfict suffered a thigh bruise against the Chicago Bears, which limited him on Thursday. The second-year defensive signal-caller was upgraded to full participation on Friday.
