Marvin Lewis feels 'better' about going to Cleveland next week following the Trent Richardson deal

Where were you when you heard "Trent Richardson was traded?"

Who trades the third overall pick from 2012 after he ran for 1,000 yards in his rookie season? The Cleveland Browns, that's who. It was a move that no one saw coming.

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio this morning and he seems to like the Bengals chance when they head to Cleveland next week.

Lewis rarely gives the media much to talk about, but it is obvious Richardson was the go-to guy in Cleveland. With Richardson out of the picture the Bengals may not have as much competition during the Battle of Ohio this season.

"Any time a great young player like Trent Richardson leaves your division - now, we still get to face him this year, but once instead of twice," Lewis said.  "He's a fine player, and I think has a big career ahead of him."

The Bengals and Browns face off Sunday, September 29, 01:00 (ET) in Cleveland.
