Former Bengals FB John Conner Joins The NY Giants

John Conner recently signed with the New York Giants

John Conner, a fan-favorite in Cincinnati for his devastating blocks, has finally found a team nearly a month after he failed to make final cuts with the Bengals. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the New York Giants have signed Conner to a two-year deal.

The signing is a result of Henry Hynoski suffering a season-ending shoulder injury against the Carolina Panthers last week.

Conner was a fan-favorite during training camp and preseason for his monstrous blocks, which began with a "welcome to the NFL" moment with Bengals defensive end Margus Hunt. However, the team decided to go with Orson Charles' versatility and special teams contributions while using Domata Peko when the team needs a lead-blocker during short-yardage situations.

Conner also recently worked out with the Buffalo Bills.
