The camel asks... guess who's in first place. GUESS who is in first place. The football genius... that is me... has claimed the early lead in the CJ staff pick'em game. The irony is that the Kirkinator hasn't actually won the most games during any given week; just the cold consistency of a Hal Morris single.
But that's the thing about these picks (which are against the spread). Most of us have had multiple winning weeks. But then there's the one week that features a complete collapse. This week, it's Andrew who commanded a lead last week but fell four spots in the standings. Soon Mickey will benefit from a boom and join the competition for second while I'm rubbing my pure-gold trophy with a soft cloth.
