Rookie linebacker Marquis Flowers is scheduled to make his first NFL start on Monday for the Cincinnati Bengals, who are looking to clinch a playoff spot for their fourth consecutive season.
Flower is replacing Emmanuel Lamur, who suffered a hamstring injury last week during Cincinnati's 30-0 win over the Cleveland Browns.
Flowers, selected in the sixth-round of the 2014 NFL draft, comes into Monday's game having only played 61 defensive snaps but an active participant in every game this season on special teams.
Pro Football Focus has graded Flowers with an overall score of -3.3 and a run defense grade of -2.9.
