Jeremy Hill nominated for FedEx Ground Player of the Week and Pepsi Rookie of the Week

Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week and Pepsi Rookie of the Week award for his performance against the Denver Broncos.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is one of three nominees for FedEx Ground Player of the Week.

During Cincinnati's 37-28 win over the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, Hill rushed for 147 yards on 22 carries with a timely 85-yard touchdown that responded to Denver's first-quarter pick-six. After that 85-yard sprint, the Bengals began to recover from the early adversity -- a clear shift from previous primetime showings.

This is the second time in as many weeks that Hill has been nominated, winning the award last week for piling on 148 yards against the Cleveland Browns. Hill also won the award in week nine (154 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars).

Also nominated this week are Seattle Seahawks Marshawn Lynch (10 carries for 113 yards rushing and two touchdowns) and San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore (26 carries for 158 yards rushing and a touchdown).

Hill is also nominated for Pepsi Rookie of the Week, an award that he also won in week nine against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Also nominated for the Pepsi Rookie award is New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham (eight receptions, 148 yards, two touchdowns), who won the award last week when Beckham and Hill were both nominated. Jacksonville Jaguars Telvin Smith (15 tackles), Dallas Cowboys Anthony Hitchens (seven tackles, interception) and Oakland Raiders Derek Carr (214 yards passing and two touchdowns) were also nominated this week.
