Remember the days when better teams were a "good measuring stick" for the Cincinnati Bengals? It usually happened during winning streaks or early season success, when teams found themselves asking, how are we against better teams? Since the Bengals were crushed by the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts this season, we know that right now, things are a little off. Thankfully Hopefully those challenges will be resumed during the postseason with better results.
The Cleveland Browns, on the other hand, are playing well.
They've won four of out of their last five games, which included a 31-10 thrashing of the Pittsburgh Steelers -- who have destroyed the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens during the last two weeks. Though, we'd be neglectful to ignore that the other teams Cleveland has defeated includes the Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans. Oh, and there's the game that Cleveland lost by 18 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Either way, Cleveland looks at Cincinnati as a benchmark on how to measure themselves.
#Browns LT Joe Thomas: #Bengals will be best team we've faced in a few games, so this will be good measuring stick.
