Bengals WR A.J. Green feels good after 33-23 win over the Jaguars

Wide receiver A.J. Green told reporters, after Sunday's 33-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, that his foot feels fine and that he'll be ready for Thursday night's game against the Cleveland Browns. Green returned after a three-game hiatus on Sunday. He was listed as questionable after a full week of practice as a limited participant.

It was as if he never left.

Green posted three receptions, on six targets, for 44 yards receiving. With 13:54 remaining in the fourth quarter, Green ran a skinny post towards the goalline. Quarterback Andy Dalton fired a missile into a small window, where the fourth-year receiver secured the football for the touchdown.

Green nearly had another touchdown in the second quarter, but the score was nullified after he was flagged for being offsides. One play earlier, Green fumbled the football after a two-yard pass, but it was recovered by Mohamed Sanu. Mike Nugent eventually converted the 31-yard field goal to give Cincinnati a 10-3 lead with 4:29 remaining in the second quarter.

OK, so maybe it wasn't as if he never left. But Cincinnati is better with Green than without.
