Giovani Bernard suffered right hip injury in the fourth quarter

The Cincinnati Bengals gained 111 yards rushing against the Ravens and scored three touchdowns on the ground. However, Giovani Bernard suffered a hip injury late in the game.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard suffered a right hip injury in the fourth quarter during Cincinnati's 27-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The team announced that his return was questionable, but Bernard never did return (at least that we noted). Bernard ran the football 16 times and gained 45 yards on the ground. His one-yard touchdown with 9:56 remaining in the third quarter (following Emmanuel Lamur's interception), gave Cincinnati a 14-6 lead.

As of this posting, there is no known update on Bernard's condition.

Eventually, Cincinnati relied on a good dose of Jeremy Hill, pounding the rock six times in the fourth quarter. Hill finished the game with 10 carries and 25 yards. Both running backs combined for 26 carries and 70 yards rushing.

If we include Andy Dalton and Mohamed Sanu (who ran twice), the Bengals rushed for 111 yards rushing as a team, scoring three times on the ground. And of those touchdowns, two were scored by Dalton.
