Hue Jackson is likely the Bengals next offensive coordinator

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden is leaving Cincinnati, leaving a vacancy on Cincinnati's coaching staff. According to reports, Jackson will likely get the job but a few details need to be worked out.

Cincinnati Bengals running backs coach Hue Jackson may receive a promotion soon. Once the Washington Redskins reportedly hired Jay Gruden as their next head coach, a vacancy opened on Cincinnati's coaching staff currently in need for a new offensive coordinator.

The general consensus is that Jackson will be given the job.

However, isn't not a done deal.

Jackson was the offensive coordinator in Baltimore ('03) and Atlanta ('07) but ranked No. 23 in each season. It wasn't until his two-year tenure in Oakland did he find relative success as a play-caller -- ranked in the top-ten in each of those two seasons.
