The chances of Katy Perry playing Roar during the Super Bowl halftime show, for a game the Bengals are winning, just got better. At a minimum, Katy Perry will be playing there.

With Rihanna telling the NFL and CBS to eff off after her song was dumped from the first Thursday Night Football broadcast of the year, the contest for securing the privilege of performing at halftime of the Super Bowl apparently was down to two -- Katy Perry and Coldplay.

Jermaine Gresham had barely picked himself up off the turf before cameras showed Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton barking instructions at him.  The fourth-year quarterback, clearly frustrated by an incomplete pass he threw to a wide-open Gresham, was demonstratively showing his tight end what he should have done that would have led the ball perfectly into his hands. As he repeatedly waved his right arm out wide, Dalton was loudly telling Gresham to keep running.
