Tecmo Bowl Futures - Panthers Vs. Bengals

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

The Bengals come back for their own homecoming and welcome the Carolina Panthers to town. Both teams are looking to rebound after poor performances last week and the Bengals want to keep their home regular season winning streak going. Here is how Tecmo thinks this game shakes out.

The Bengals kickoff to the Panthers and Cam Newton leads the offense right down the field. The defense bends but does not break and Carolina is forced to a field goal try.

The kick is good.

On the Bengals first drive, it is clear they look to run the ball often. Giovani Bernard gets the bulk of the work to start the game.

At the end of 1 the Panthers lead the Bengals 3 to 0.

Bernard finishes the drive and the Bengals are on top 7 - 3.

Carolina struggles to move the ball and are forced to punt back to the Bengals.

Andy Dalton keeps the drive alive with his legs as he runs for a huge chunk of yds and sets the Bengals up for an end of half field goal opportunity.

It's good and Mike Nugent puts the Bengals up 10 to 3 at the half.

The Bengals have the opportunity to run away with this one as they start with the ball in the second half. However, Andy Dalton makes a poor throw and the Panthers get an interception.

Carolina capitalizes with a quick score from Cam Newton to Kelvin Benjamin.

At the end of the third it is all tied up 10 to 10.

Giovani Bernard answers with a screen pass he gets a huge gain on and then a big run for a touchdown.

But, the Bengals defense can not hold as Carolina answers with a long pass.

The Bengals have little time to get into field goal range for a last second field goal. Then Jermaine Gresham makes an incredible catch to get the Bengals into the endzone and put the game away.

The Bengals continue to play well at home as they win 24 to 17.
