Bengals respond with 14-play touchdown drive

The Carolina Panthers, who pieced together a 15-play drive that ended with a three-yard touchdown, provided a quality blueprint for the Cincinnati Bengals. Maybe motivation. If you can do it, so can we.

A fanatical offering with Giovani Bernard allowed Cincinnati into several short-yardage situations to convert their first four third down opportunities before reaching the Panthers seven-yard line at the start of the second quarter.

Following a limited two-yard gain by Jeremy Hill, the Bengals have second and goal from the five-yard line. Dalton fakes the handoff to Brandon Tate on a jet sweep, and then flings the football on a wide receiver screen to Tate. Following Mohamed Sanu's block down the left sidelines, Tate dove into the endzone, reaching the front left pylon for the touchdown.

Now we're tied.
