Bengals WR A.J. Green expects to miss week seven against the Indianapolis Colts

The Cincinnati Bengals aren't expected to have their superstar wide receiver against the Colts, according to ESPN. A.J. Green is expected to see a doctor this Friday.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green won't play next week, the star receiver told ESPN reporter Bob Holtzman.

Green strained the ligaments in his foot during stretches on Wednesday. He missed practice on Thursday and showed up during Friday's session in a protective boot.

This matches a Bengals.com report that said Green "is scheduled for another consult next week as the Bengals try to find out if it’s a short- or long-term problem and how long it's going to be day-to-day."

Without Green or Marvin Jones, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu posted a career day with 10 receptions for 120 yards receiving. His fourth quarter touchdown tied the game at 24 with 11:38 remaining in the game.

The Bengals will play the Colts in Indianapolis this Sunday.
