The Benglas offense has been a mess against the Colts, which shouldn't be much of a surprise. Indy's defense has played well at home, and the Bengals are without star receivers Marvin Jones and A.J. Green, not to mention ascending tight end Tyler Eifert
Giovani Bernard is the only respectable skill players Cincinnati has, and the Colts know that. Twice in one drive in this game, an Indy defender annihilated Bernard on a short dump-off pass from Dalton, who couldn't find any of his receivers open.
This was the worst hit he took, courtesy of Colts cornerback Vontae Davis.
Bernard was down on the field after the play, but it looked like he just got the wind knocked out of him. He returned to the game and took another big hit later on another dump-off pass that was sniffed out.
The Bengals offense managed to get just two first downs in the first half vs. the Colts.
