Expectations are a tricky thing.
When you expect big things, then there's little room for nonsense. It's why Jermaine Gresham is our No. 1 villain (not my words) and why we're so disappointed in the offensive line -- two first-rounders and a second-rounder.
Following Cincinnati's 27-0 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, we asked... have you lowered your expectations now.
@CincyJungle hard to tell. Looked great against good teams, but injuries have derailed that. Need to stay close until reinforcements arrive

@CincyJungle 8-7-1?
— losbengals.com (@losbengalscom) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle Yep. Barring a group trip to Germany for a Kobe-esque blood-spinning treatment, I'm staring down the barrel at 6-9-1. Was 11-5.

@CincyJungle unless guys are miraculously healed soon, just making the playoffs w/ an early exit again wouldn't be too disappointing
— José Ovechkin (@JosePippen33) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle my expectations have been the same since before the season. 9-11 wins and another first round playoff exit. nothings changed
— Trill Withers (@TylerIAm) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle injuries turning into ineptitude turning into malaise. Awfully similar to the reds season so far.
— Cory harkenreader (@Wpdios) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle that said I am not completely giving up hope yet. Just noticing similarities
— Cory harkenreader (@Wpdios) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle I think I lowered them from where they were after 3-0 to about where I was going into the season
— AndyKerman (@LotionDolphin) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle hope to hold on and get hot at end and make a run. We seem to always be cold going into playoffs every year
— Nomad (@nomadicproctor1) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle they will win the division by default, and then out in the first round. 8-7-1
— Matthew Goodge (@MatthewGoodge) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle My expectations are the same, ran into a tough part of the schedule, and a ton of injuries. 3 straight at home.
— Micah Vesey (@Micahwhodey) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle Marvin is our guy. Play through it, continue to grind every day and DO YOUR JOB. The results will come. #WhoDey
— David Brown (@DavidBrown_15) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle Pretty much expecting one and done in the playoffs again.
— Bearded AF Vet (@CrosleyCreep) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle As if we haven't seen enough, I think next week vs. BAL will tell a lot about the remainder of the season.
— Travis Parker (@_MuddleBox) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle sticking with the "at least we're not pittsburgh" statement lately...
— Alex (@CBJAlex_lax) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle No playoffs should cost Marvin his job. Injuries no excuse for this.
— Eric Wais (@EricWais) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle I expected a 10 win season and a playoff win. Now expecting to not make playoffs at all. Even before today's game
— Walter White (@TheOneWhoKnocks) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle NEVER! 13-2-1! SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!
— Joe (@JoeskiBroski) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle Yeah, I think we're a 7-9 team at this point.
— Alex Healey (@Alexzilla408) October 19, 2014
@CincyJungle There is NEVER any urgency with this team. I had high expectations @ 3-0, but now it's the same old Marvin Lewis crap. Yawn.
