A.J. Green has made "tremendous progress"; Vontaze Burfict is "fine"

Will Week 8 bring the end to a month without a win? A.J. Green and Burfict hope to be on the field to help make a win possible.

The Cincinnati Bengals need all hands on deck when they host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, while hoping to end a three-game non-winning streak.

They may have their two best players back and healthy, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. Speaking with the media Monday, Lewis said wide receiver A.J. Green has made "tremendous progress" in his recovery from a toe injury that's cost him three games this year.

As for linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who missed much of Sunday's loss to the Colts with a neck injury, Lewis said he's "fine." That injury was described as a "cervical strain", and without knowing the severity of the strain, it's impossible to know if Tez will be back this week, or miss multiple weeks.

After opening the season with a win at Baltimore, the Ravens will come to Cincinnati winning five of their past six games and taking control of the AFC North.
