A.J. Green doubtful vs. Ravens; Leon Hall and Giovani Bernard probable

The bengals will get several key players back this week, but don't expect A.J. Green to play vs. the Ravens.

All thing considered, the Bengals had a good week on the injury front in preparation for their game vs. the Baltimore Ravens. Several starters who either missed last week, or were knocked out of the Week 7 loss to the Colts are expected to play Sunday.

Giovani Bernard is listed as "probable" on the final injury report after getting in a full season Friday. A rib injury held him to two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday. He looks ready for a full workload vs. Baltimore.

Leon Hall also is listed as "probable" on the final injury report following a full practice session on Friday. A back strain forced him out of the Week 7 loss to the Colts, and he didn't practice Wednesday. His presence will be key in slowing down Baltimore's dynamic WR duo of Torrey and Steve Smith.

Vontaze Burfict is also listed as "probable" after a neck injury knocked him out of the Week 7 contest. He got in a full practice in on both Thursday and Friday.

Brandon Thompson is listed as "questionable following a full practice session Friday, and he's expected to make his return from a knee injury that's cost him the past four games.

As mentioned before, A.J. Green did not practice Friday, though he was able to work once again on the rehab field, while doing conditioning work. He's listed as "doubtful" on the final injury report. Don't expect him to play this week, but the progress Green's made suggests he's is close to returning. A Week 9 return at home vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars seems like a realistic expectation.

Coley Harvey does think the Bengals will at least test Green's injured toe in pre-game warmups to see if he could possibly play vs. Baltimore.
