As was reported earlier on Sunday, even dating back to Saturday afternoon, the Cincinnati Bengals will approach A.J. Green with a bit more caution. Green, who will sit against Ravens, reportedly has ligament damage under his big toe. He's hoping to play next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars -- then again, he expected to play this week as well. Like last week and the week before that, Dane Sanzenbacher, Brandon Tate and Mohamed Sanu will be Cincinnati's top-three receivers against the Ravens.
Despite practicing every day this week, though limited on Wednesday and Friday, Thompson will sit out Sunday. Linebacker Rey Maualuga isn't expected for, at least, a few more weeks. Running back Rex Burkhead, offensive lineman Tanner Hawkinson, cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris and defensive end Will Clarke are healthy scratches.
On the other side, the Ravens are down two starters with defensive end Chris Canty and tight end Owen Daniels sidelined. Canty continues to be held out while dealing with a wrist injury. Daniels had a knee procedure done this week that will cause him to miss at least this game vs. Cincinnati.
