Bengals vs Ravens: Jones pick and Nugent FG give Bengals 17-6 lead

The Bengals defense has recorded two second half interceptions to open the third quarter. They've lead to ten second half points for Cincinnati and a 17-6 lead.

Two second half possessions... two interceptions.

That's the bottom line for Cincinnati, who opened the second half with a flurry on defense. First it was Emmanuel Lamur, who picked off Flacco, leading to Giovani Bernard's touchdown and a 14-6 lead.

This time Adam Jones anticipated a slant route while Torrey Smith collided with a defender following another receiver banking towards the sidelines. It was accidental but Flacco threw directly to Adam Jones, who was covering Torrey Smith.

Cincinnati, unable to get a first down, calls upon Mike Nugent who successfully converts a 32-yard field goal... his first attempt since missing an attempt against Carolina that ended that game in a tie.

The field goal gives Cincinnati a 17-6 lead with 6:29 remaining in the third quarter.
