In case you missed it, Bernard is expected to miss Sunday, so it came as no surprise he didn't practice Thursday. There's speculation Cedric Peerman is set to get more touches if Gio is out, but Butch Hobson thinks Rex Burkhead could be the one to get more run.
No Gio. You have to figure he's going to be out and that some point Rex gets first spot NFL carries

In addition to Green and Bernard being held out, right guard Kevin Zeitler also missed practice while he continues to deal with a calf injury. He re-injured the same calf that was injured in a Week 2 win over the Atlanta Falcons. If he's unable to go, Mike Pollak will once again get the start. Funny how things work out, as Pollak re-signed with Cincy this offseason in hopes of winning the starting center job, and now, with Zeitler's injury, he has been a starting guard for much of this year.
As for others not practicing, Geno Atkins and Darqueze Dennard, though Atkins is getting more of a rest day.
