The Bengals still aren't sure if they'll have wide receiver A.J. Green vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. In fact, if you go off his "questionable" status on the final injury report, they think there's a 50/50 chance he plays.
However, after practicing all week, expect to see him suit up for the first time since Week 5 when the Jags come to Cincinnati. Head coach Marvin Lewis is optimistic Green will make his return this week.
"If everything stays the way it is, he'll play," Lewis said.
The same cannot be said for running back Giovani Bernard. He's been ruled out for Week 9, and with a quick turnaround in Week 10, with the Browns coming to town on Thursday Night Football, Lewis said "we'll see" whether he'll play in that game.
Cornerback Darqueze Dennard, linebacker Rey Maualuga and guard Kevin Zeitler are also listed as "doubtful" on the team's final injury report. Backup defensive tackle Brandon Thompson is listed as "questionable."
