The Bengals couldn't ask for much worse of a start than they got Sunday night. On the game's opening kickoff, backup linebacker Sean Porter injured his knee while running down the field on a touchback.
This marks the latest injury for an injury-prone player. This was the first career game for the 2013 fourth-round pick out of Texas A&M. After missing his entire rookie season with a pectoral injury, Porter missed most of the season with knee and hamstring injuries.
This is sadly starting to look like another lost season for Porter. The fact he was ruled out instantly suggests it's a significant injury.
Porter has shown flashes in practice when he's been healthy enough to even practice. He still has yet to show any flashes in games, preseason or regular season.
