The San Diego Chargers are signing center Trevor Robinson from the Bengals practice squad

They're doing so to replace yet another starting center that was lost for the season. This time, is was Doug Legursky, who was injured during the team's Week 5 win over the New York Jets.

Legursky was signed before Week 2 when Nick Hardwick went on season-ending injured reserve with a neck issue. He was elevated to a starter in Week 4 after Rich Ohrnberger was sidelined due to a back injury. Unfortunately, Legursky suffered a knee injury of his own in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win, and Head Coach Mike McCoy announced Monday that he will be lost for the season.

While some Bengals fans were scratching their heads when Robinson was released, they did manage to keep him via the practice squad. On the 53-man roster, they kept T.J. Johnson and Mike Pollak to be backups behind starters Clint Boling, Kevin Zeitler, Russell Bodine and Mike Pollak.
