The Bengals hit the field Thursday for what was a key practice day for several injured players, though no one expected A.J. Green to hit the field, as he visited a foot specialist. It was no surprise he wasn't on the field, and the expectation is he'll miss Sunday vs. Carolina.
As for starting guard Kevin Zeitler, he missed Thursday's session after being limited in Wednesday's practice. He needs to be a full participant Friday if he's to start at his normal right guard spot vs. the Panthers.
Marvin Jones was at practice doing rehab work, and wasn't dressed as it looks as though he too will miss Sunday.
Backup defensive tackle Brandon Thompson missed with a knee injury that's cost him the past two games, and will likely cost him this week's game as well.
The good news is Vontaze Burfict practiced fully for a second straight day, and it looks likely he'll start Sunday vs. Carolina.
