Tecmo Bowl Futures - Bengals Vs. Saints

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

The Bengals look to right the ship as they set out on a three game road trip. The first stop on this national tour is a  matchup against the Saints in the always tough to play Superdome. Let's see what Tecmo thinks the Bengals chances are in this game.

The Saints start with the football and other than a Drew Brees scramble, are unable to do much against the Bengals defense.

Andy Dalton starts this game much like he ended the last. An interception gives the Saints the ball back with great field position.

Again, the Saints offense can not find any rhythm and needs to punt the ball back to Cincinnati.

At the end of 1 the score is still 0 to 0.

To open the second quarter, Dalton throws another pick to the Saints.

This time, Drew Brees capitalizes on a touchdown pass.

The Bengals attempt to answer and move the ball through the air. However, the drive stalls and Mike Nugent attempts a field goal.

No good.

Back to back sacks from Geno Atkins and Emmanuel Lamur help end the half before the Saints can do any more damage.

At the half the Saints lead by 7.

The Bengals start the second half with the ball and the offense is on fire. Two passes get the Bengals into the endzone. Andy Dalton finds Jeremy Hill and he breaks free to score.

The Saints promptly return the ball to the Bengals in the form of an interception and again Dalton finds Hill on a short pass that he breaks free.

The Saints attempt to answer with a strong passing game of their own.

At the end of the third, the Bengals are on top 14 - 7.

To start the 4th quarter, Khiry Robinson breaks a run for a touchdown. The Bengals are able to blow up the line on the extra point and get the block to stay on top by 1 point.

The Bengals continue to attack. After an efficient passing game to move down the field, Jeremy Hill scores a rushing touchdown to give the Bengals some breathing room.

Geno Atkins punishes Drew Brees and the Saints turn over the ball on 4th down.

The Bengals stick to the run game and Jeremy Hill finds the endzone for his 4th time today.

The Bengals run away with this one by the score of 28 - 13.
