With Week 11 of the 2014 NFL season all but wrapped up, it's time to take a look at the early lines for the Week 12 slate of games.
The action begins with the winless Oakland Raiders hosting the surging Kansas City Chiefs. It comes as little surprise that KC is already a touchdown favorite, and given the trend of Thursday night blowouts this year, there's no reason to doubt the Chiefs will cover this early line.
As far the actual competitive and meaningful games go, the New England Patriots host the Detroit Lions in a game the Pats are already favored by seven in. New England is undefeated at home this year while Detroit is just 2-2 on the road.
The most competitive matchup might be between the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals. Coming off a huge win at Cleveland, Houston is an early 2.5-point favorite over a Bengals teams that's coming off a big win at New Orleans. Both teams have been wildly inconsistent, so this is a game you'd probably be better off not touching, though Houston has been a house of horrors for Cincinnati.
