The Bengals announced on Friday that linebacker Vontaze Burfict and defensive end Margus Hunt would be out with a knee and ankle respectively. Both headline an inactive list that's relatively healthy, but angled within a structure that's based on a projected philosophy against the Houston Texans.
For example, the team is going with only four wide receivers, sitting Greg Little and Dane Sanzenbacher, while going heavy on the defensive line.
Also, Rex Burkhead became the odd man out on Sunday when Giovani Bernard was announced
as active, as well as starting over Jeremy Hill.
