Bengals lose Andre Smith to arm injury

As long as Andre Smith is out, Marshall Newhouse will be the starting right tackle, which is a significant downgrade to say the least.

It didn't take 10 minutes before the Bengals lost a key starter in their Week 12 game at Houston. On the Team's second possession of the game, starting right tackle Andre Smith injured his arm on a run play and was down on a knee for about a minute on the field as trainers attended to him.

After he was able to walk off the field, the Bengals announced he was not expected to return about three minutes later , which is a scary sign that the injury is pretty serious. On the same drive he was injured, the Bengals did manage to go down the field and score to take an early 7-0 lead.

Smith just returned form a 2-game absence while dealing with an ankle injury, and it appears he'll miss a few more games at the very least with this arm injury.

As long as he is out, Marshall Newhouse will be the starting right tackle, which is a significant downgrade to say the least.
