Jadeveon Clowney was offsides when Andy Dalton threw pick-6 (VIDEO)

The refs missed an easy call that could have been costly for the Bengals in their Week 12 matchup with the Texans.

One of the biggest plays of the Bengals' Week 12 contest vs.the Texans shouldn't have happened at all.

At least, the play should have been negated, as Houston linebacker Jadeveon Clowney was clearly offsides on the play in which Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw a pick-6 to cornerback Johnathan Joseph.

H/T to our own Joe Goodberry for catching this

That play came in the third quarter with Cincinnati leading 16-3, and it shifted the momentum into the favor of the Texans, as they went on to tack on a field goal on their ensuing drive, leaving the Bengals with a slim 16-13 lead.

That kind of play simply can't be missed by the refs, but in the same breath, Dalton cannot make that kind of throw, even if he knew he had a free play with Clowney offsides. It could have ultimately cost the Bengals in a game they had to have to keep pace in the AFC North.
