Going on road may have been best thing for Bengals
Winning on the road in the NFL can be difficult, and Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said on Monday he would prefer his team play all 16 of its games at home, but perhaps one of the main things that has turned the team's season back in the right direction following the 24-3 home loss to Cleveland on Nov. 6 was going on the road for a lengthy period of time.

Matchup of the Game: age before...?

"One of their ends (Jerry Hughes, 9.5 sacks), is fast and slippery and quick. Another (Mario Williams, 12 sacks) is the biggest, strongest, fastest player in the NFL. (Tackle Marcell) Dareus (12 sacks) is 340 pounds and runs a 4.9. (Tackle) Kyle Williams is probably one of the quickest guys around."

In the matter of meaningfulness of games, there’s no season like the one the National Football League presents. Each team plays only 16 games, compared to 82 for the NHL and NBA and 162 for MLB. Every game absolutely matters. An MLB team can have an eight-game losing streak and shrug it off. If that happens to an NFL team, its season is over.
