The Cincinnati Bengals didn't announce any surprises after releasing their inactives list prior to Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Linebacker Vontaze Burfict will miss his fifth-straight game after a procedure that was designed to clean out his knee has led to a slow recovery. Including the concussions from earlier this season, Burfict will have missed seven games this season. As for the rest of the team, defensive end Margus Hunt is out with an ankle.
Both players were already declared out on Friday.
Cincinnati is also sitting two offensive linemen in the recently signed Jamon Meredith and Tanner Hawkinson. If Marshall Newhouse, starting at right tackle, suffers an injury, expect Clint Boling to replace him with Mike Pollak stepping in for Boling at left guard. Wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher is active this weekend while Greg Little sits with running back Rex Burkhead and cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris.
As for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, starting linebacker Lavonte David is out. David entered this weekend as the only NFL player with 250-plus tackles (260), five-plus sacks (7) and five-plus interceptions (5) since 2013. Joining David is defensive tackle Clinton McDonald, as well as starting center Evan Dietrich-Smith.
