Bengals lose Domata Peko to elbow injury

Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Domata Peko suffered an elbow injury during Sunday's game. He's left the game and will not return.

The Bengals got off to a terrible start vs. the Buccaneers, and it didn't get much better when starting defensive tackle Domata Peko was knocked out of the game.

Peko suffered an elbow injury that forced him to the locker room, and when he returned to the sideline, he was in a sling and street clothes. The Bengals later ruled him out of the game, and it looks like the injury could be severe enough to at least knock him out of Cincy's Week 14 matchup with the Steelers.

With Peko out, Brandon Thompson is now the starting nose tackle. This also means Devon Still will get more snaps going forward. Expect the Bengals to sign another defensive lineman soon with Margus Hunt also dealing with an ankle injury.

Peko has started in every game for four consecutive seasons, and had started in all 11 this year. It looks as though that streak will end.
