It looks as though the Johnny Manziel era in Cleveland has begun.
After another horrible performance by starting QB Brian Hoyer, he was benched in favor of Johnny Football in the fourth quarter with the Buffalo Bills leading 20-3 over Cleveland.
To that point, Hoyer had completed 18 of 30 passes for 192 yards with two interceptions. He's now thrown six picks over the past three games, one of which was a loss at home to Houston, and the other a narrow win at Atlanta.
Manziel came into the game and proceeded to lead Cleveland right down the field and score the Browns' first touchdown on a 10-yard run. He also completed three of four passes for 54 yards on the drive.
It's safe to say Hoyer's days as a starting QB, at least in Cleveland, are over. Manziel was drafted in the first round of this year's draft, and his time has now come for the Browns.
