The Cincinnati Bengals will take on the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football without several starters in the lineup, including running back Giovani Bernard.
No surprise but Bengals HC Marvin Lewis told @RossTuckerNFL that RB Giovani Bernard will not play tonight. Jeremy Hill time.

The second-year back is dealing with a hip and shoulder injury that will cause him to miss just his second career game when the two teams play Thursday night. Bernard leads the team with 446 rushing yards and five scores.
With him out, the Bengals will rely on rookie Jeremy Hill to start with Cedric Peerman and Rex Burkhead getting snaps as well. Hill totaled 154 rushing yards and two scores in his first career start vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.
The Bengals rank ninth in rushing offense this year, despite not ever seemingly having Hill and Bernard perform big in the same game. With Hill's recent emergence, even when Bernard comes back, expect more of a 50/50 split between the two.
