Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Jeremy Hill was named the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
Hill, a second-round pick out of LSU, had 154 rushing yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns - including a 60-yard run - along with one catch for nine yards in Cincinnati's 33-23 win against the Jaguars. This is Hill's first NFL award, as the rookie has played in just his eight career game and has his first NFL start in Week 9.
FedEx will make a $2,000 donation in Hill's name to the American Red Cross.
Hill was also nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week for his Week 9 performance.
Hill joins San Francisco 49ers linebacker Chris Borland, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Taylor Gabriel, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns.
