The Cincinnati Bengals and the U.S. Marine Corps are pleased to announce the results for our 2014 Toys for Tots collection held at the Bengals/Pittsburgh Steelers game on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Bengals fans very generously contributed 5,470 new toys and an incredible $48,888 in cash donations. This is double what was collected in previous years.
"With more than 54,000 children in the eight-county Tri-State region being supported during this Holiday Season by Toys for Tots, the Bengals toy collection has been our largest. We are very grateful for all the contributions," said Gunnery Sergeant James Key 2014 U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Coordinator.
"A special thank you goes to the Bengals organization, the players, and media partners who helped get the message out about the event," Key added. " We are grateful for the help from PODS for providing the collection containers and transporting the toys to the warehouse."
The team also said that they "sincerely thank all Bengals fans for their generosity in supporting this important effort."
