The Cleveland Browns play host to the Cincinnati Bengals in Round 2 of the Battle of Ohio this week. After Cleveland came into Cincy and put a 24-3 beatdown on the Bengals, revenge will be on the minds of the guys in stripes as they look to avoid the season sweep at the hands of their in-state rivals.
Cleveland enters this game at 7-6 and just a game behind the 8-5 Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers for one of the two AFC wild-card spots. As for Cincinnati, they sit atop the the AFC at 8-4-1, just a half a game above the Steelers and Ravens.
This is effectively an elimination game for the Browns, as they and four other 7-6 teams are trying to climb past three 8-6 teams for one of the wild-card spots with just three weeks remaining. This is also a must-win for Cincinnati, as they host the Denver Broncos before their season finale at Pittsburgh, two games that will prove far more difficult to win than this game vs. Cleveland.
This will also be the debut of Johnny Manziel as a starting NFL quarterback. The former Heisman winner was drafted in the first round of this year's draft out of Texas A&M to be the Browns franchise QB. This will be his first chance to prove he can become just that, something Cleveland hasn't had since the days of Bernie Kosar.
