The Cleveland Browns got off to painfully slow (or very pleasing if you're a Bengals fan), and it was even more painful for All-Pro cornerback Joe Haden. After the bengals scored on a Jeremy Hill touchdown run to take a 17-0 lead, Haden left the field and headed to the locker room with team trainers.

It was announced that it was a shoulder injury, and his return is currently listed as "questionable.' Per Pro Football Focus, Haden is the ninth-best cornerback of 31 qualified corners who've played in at least 75% of their team's snaps.

Haden is one of the NFL's best corners, and if he's out for the game, that would be a huge loss for Cleveland with All-Pro receiver A.J. Green on the field. When Haden goes against Green, it has often been Haden who was the victor. With him out, the Browns would rely on Buster Skrine to cover Green.

UPDATE

Haden was later ruled out of the game, and so was rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert, who left the game with a head injury. That forced rookie Pierre Desir into the starting lineup.
