The Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos face off on Monday Night Football with two teams possibly heading in different directions. The Broncos have the AFC West locked up, and can clinch a first-round bye with a win this week. IF they do so, it could spell doom for Cincinnati, who could really use a win in one of their final two games to clinch a playoff spot.
However, with games vs. the Broncos and then at Pittsburgh to finish the season, against a Steelers team than won by 21 at Cincinnati is less than ideal for the Bengals. Needless to say, a win here would be huge, but a loss could send Cincy spiraling out of the playoff picture.
Denver comes into this game as winners of four straight after a 22-10 win over the San Diego Chargers last week. The Bengals have won three of four and six of eight coming into this game after a 30-0 win over the Cleveland Browns last week. This matchup features the final edition of Monday Night Football for the 2014 NFL season, which makes me sad.
