After Peyton Manning was able to get three limited practices in this week, the Denver Broncos still apparently aren't certain he'll suit up vs. the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football.
Following Saturday's practice, the team designated Manning as 'questionable' to play Monday night, meaning there's at least a chance he doesn't suit up for the first time in his Broncos career. Manning suffered a thigh injury last week after he has dealing with a sickness that caused him to miss part of the Week 15 win over San Diego.
This comes one day after The Denver Post wrote that the Broncos should sit Manning vs. the Bengals in order to ensure he's as close to 100-percent as possible for the playoffs.
If for whatever reason he were to miss this game, Brock Osweiler would be in line for his first career NFL start, and it would come in primetime with Denver still in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. Don't expect to see Manning sitting this one out with so much on the line. He won't allow it.
P. Manning threw normally in practice today, dropbacks, set-up, follow-through all fine...oh, and #Broncos still have shot at homefield.
