Week 16 NFL Power Rankings

My stab at ranking the 32 teams in the NFL after Week 16.

Trying to keep a level head after the Bengals huge win last night as I rank all the NFL teams for you. I could toss the Bengals in the top 5, but really, do they belong there? As for the rest of the teams, I kind of stop caring after the first 12 or so. The playoff teams are near the top (except for the NFC South) and a bunch of bad teams at the bottom. Here are your rankings of all 32 teams. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

NFL Team Wins Losses Ties Rank Previous Rank
New England Patriots 12 3 0 1 1 Even with the slim win over the Jets, the Patriots still look like the best all around team right now.
Seattle Seahawks 11 4 0 2 3 The Seahawks are playing now like they were when they ended the season last year. That is not good news for anyone in the NFC.
Green Bay Packers 11 4 0 3 2 The Packers need to beat the Lions to take the division. They may be the only team that can hang with the 'Hawks.
Dallas Cowboys 11 4 0 4 5 Tony Romo is leading Dallas and can overcome the perception that he falters when it counts.
Detroit Lions 11 4 0 5 8 The Lions have found ways to win this season even if many of them were ugly.
Cincinnati Bengals 10 4 1 6 10 The Bengals slayed some demons, beating a good team in prime time.
Denver Broncos 11 4 0 7 4 Peyton Manning is struggling right now and the Broncos are not a good enough team to overcome that.
Arizona Cardinals 11 4 0 8 6 Too many injuries at the QB position.
Pittsburgh Steelers 10 5 0 9 11 Got the win against KC and look toward the AFC North showdown this weekend.
San Diego Chargers 9 6 0 10 15 Philip Rivers led the charge to dig out of the hole he put the team in. This team knows how to play in the stretch.
Indianapolis Colts 10 5 0 11 7 Dallas hammered the Colts and this is another team struggling at the wrong time.
Philadelphia Eagles 9 6 0 12 9 Losing to Washington hurt the Eagles, they just have too many turnovers.
Houston Texans 8 7 0 13 17 A fourth string QB beat the Ravens. Remember when everyone said they had the easiest road to the division title?
Baltimore Ravens 9 6 0 14 12 3 interceptions for the "Elite" Joe Flacco.
Kansas City Chiefs 8 7 0 15 14 The Chiefs have to find ways to get their receivers the ball. All Charles and tight end show in KC.
Miami Dolphins 8 7 0 16 19 Exciting way to end the game, blocked punt for a safety.
Buffalo Bills 8 7 0 17 13 Let down game you think?
San Francisco 49ers 7 8 0 18 16 Harbaugh's time comes to a close in San Fran.
New York Giants 6 9 0 19 25 The Giants have one of the best wide outs in the league developing for them it seems.
Minnesota Vikings 6 9 0 20 21 Mike Zimmers defense got gashed and the Vikings couldn't recover.
Atlanta Falcons 6 9 0 21 24 Who wins this terrible division? It comes down to Falcons Vs. Panthers.
Carolina Panthers 6 8 1 22 22 Can the Panthers win the division after their six game losing streak earlier this season?
St. Louis Rams 6 9 0 23 18 The Giants figured out the Rams defense I guess.
Cleveland Browns 7 8 0 24 20 Tough loss with Manziel being hurt. Wait, no it wasn't.
New Orleans Saints 6 9 0 25 23 This is a season the Saints just want to be over.
Washington Redskins 4 11 0 26 28 Desean Jackson had fun at his former teams expense.
Chicago Bears 5 10 0 27 26 Jay Culter's last game as a Bear?
New York Jets 3 12 0 28 29 I rarely root for the Jets, I did on Sunday. They still stink.
Oakland Raiders 3 12 0 29 31 Shocked another team but the Raiders need to do some serious work in the offseason.
Jacksonville Jaguars 3 12 0 30 30 Did anyone watch their game on Thursday night?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2 13 0 31 27 Tampa could snag a QB in the draft and have a lot of weapons around him early.
Tennessee Titans 2 13 0 32 32 The Titans don't have much hope for the future with their current cast.
